ADELAIDE’S auction clearance rate topped the nation last week as volumes start to reduce as the cooler weather kicks in.
CoreLogic RP Data are tracking 70 auction in Adelaide this weekend, a slight reduction on the 76 held last week that recorded a clearance rate of 71.2 per cent.
Both Sydney and Melbourne had strong clearance rates last week, of 69.8 per cent and 69.2 per cent respectively.
Nationally, there are 1677 homes set to go under the hammer. This is an increase on the 1582 homes that went to auction last weekend.
Auctions of note this weekend include 2 Slade Street, Somerton Park, being sold by Harris Real Estate at 10am on Saturday.
The single-storey four-bedroom home features a large living room that opens to a covered alfresco area overlooking a pool, a kitchen and dining room, and a family room.
It is being advertised with a price guide of $950,000.
11 Burwood Ave, Nailsworth will also go under the hammer with an advertised price of $625,000.
The single-storey stone cottage has three bedrooms with ceiling fans and fireplaces, and an open-plan kitchen, living and dining room that opens via bi-fold doors to a paved entertainment area.
It will be going to auction at 10.30am and being sold by Klemich Real Estate.
A four-bedroom bungalow will also go under the hammer on Saturday at 10.30am.
The 114 Second Ave, Joslin property, being sold by Bernard H. Booth, is set on a 1170sqm block with a parklike garden. It also has a formal loungeroom, open-plan kitchen and living, an alfresco area, a pool and a detached studio.
